Kids Corner: drawing tutorial for #BLM signs

Kids Corner is the place to find fun activities to help fill the long days of lockdown.

Age Guide: preschool and primary school

Most weekdays American artist Wendy Mac hosts a live drawing class on YouTube. It's not a convenient time for most of us here in Australia, but she generously uploads all of the Draw Together classes afterwards, which makes them perfect to pop on at any time of the day you need a creative pick-me-up.

This particular tutorial is about the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests in America, and the role of art as protest. Join in to create a Black Lives Matter poster, sign or artwork! You can also head over to her YouTube channel to find dozens of other drawing activities and half-hour art breaks. Did I mention she has an adorable canine companion, and often has cute music and dance times in her sessions? Irresistable.
