Lalor Library is a welcoming community hub conveniently located in the centre of the Lalor Shopping Precinct. A place where the community can browse and borrow from the collection, and access a wide range of services; we also offer titles in our LOTE languages of Greek, Croatian, Serbian, Italian, Polish, Spanish, Vietnamese, Hindi, Punjabi, Arabic, and Chinese.
However, we find that it is the social connection that lies at the heart of this library. Our Storytime sessions bring new parents together while providing a quality early-years program for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers alike.
We are enormously proud to offer a Toy Library for younger children, and a technology-based Learning Library for older children. We also offer a Science Club for older children with enquiring minds.
Our language Café sessions encourage members from diverse backgrounds and cultures to come together and share stories and discuss life in Australia. And our Weekly Seniors group is a long-running institution for people to gather each week to chat, play games, form connections, and enjoy a cuppa!
