Storytimes you deliver: Toddler Storytime Tuesday and Friday at 10.30am & Family Storytime every 2nd Wednesday 10.30am.
Other Storytimes at branch: Baby Storytime on Monday at 10.30 with Alison, and Family Storytime every 2nd Wednesday with Sophie!
Fav type of storytime and why: I love doing Toddler Storytime because toddlers are such great fun and a little crazy! There is no judgement with toddlers they are up for anything and everything. We sing and dance and practise our listening skills with a fun story.
Fav storytime songs: Old MacDonald, If Your happy and You Know it and The Hokey Pokey.
Puppets or props or mascot? Ten Bears in a bed which are hand knitted little bears in their own bed who are very clumsy and keep falling out of bed!
What happens after storytime? Bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles! Plus fun garden activities in our community garden, you can water our veggies, play on the slide/equipment and even make some yummy bark soup in the mud kitchen.
Looking for something to do after storytime? Why would you want to leave the beautiful newly renovated Diamond Valley Library, we have amazing spaces where you can enjoy a BYO snack and even borrow some amazing picture books. If you really want something else to do you could visit the Civic Drive Playground that’s just a few metres up the road.
Fav local place to get your coffee: Take your little one to Storytime at Diamond Valley library and receive a voucher for a $2 coffee and free babychino at Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre just 200m walk down the other end of the carpark!
