Get creative at the library this summer, inspired by Remedios Varo, Pablo Picasso, Natalia Goncharova, Georges Braque and other influential European artists of the twentieth century!

Make a sculpture, collage or creature using paper, simple techniques and… imagination! Write a poem, draw a portrait or build a scene.

NGV Kids on Tour 2023 events will be held at all branches, featuring a range of hands-on activities from the 2022 NGV International exhibition Making Art: Imagine Everything is Real.

NGV Kids on Tour coincides with the NGV Kids Summer Festival, 14 – 22 January 2023 taking place at the NGV International and The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia, Fed Square.

NGV Teens activities will be available on request, highlighting the work of Melbourne based artists Archer Davies and Rubii Red. Activities explore portrait creation and character design. Rubii, a proud Lama Lama woman, uses her art to speak about issues such as seeing more First Nations figures represented in media, especially in gaming, streaming, film and television.
