In response to how patrons are using our library services, from Tuesday 3 until Wednesday 19 March all library branches in the City of Whittlesea will close at 6pm on the nights they are normally open later. This includes the Mill Park, Mernda, Lalor, Thomastown and Whittlesea, branches.
 
This temporary change is required to increase the staff to patron ratio during daytime hours, allowing us to provide more assistance during peak times.
 
We are working to adjust our service so that later hours can be reinstated soon.
 
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this temporary adjustment. Our goal is to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all.
