Suzanne McWhinney
Suzanne McWhinney’s abstract paintings are on display throughout the month of November in the Alcoves at Eltham Library.
Suzanne is a Melbourne-based artist whose work is inspired by nature, emotion and the beauty found in life’s quiet moments. Working primarily with acrylics, she creates expressive, richly textured pieces that invite the viewer to pause, reflect and form their own personal connection with the work.
Drawing on her creative intuition and appreciation of harmony and design, Suzanne believes in the power of art to evoke emotion, spark conversation and bring a sense of calm to our homes.
Her collection for the library features a series of small-scale canvases, each celebrating colour, movement and the subtle energy that surrounds us. They explore themes of renewal, balance and joy, transforming everyday spaces into places of warmth and inspiration.
The works are an invitation to slow down, look a little closer and enjoy a peaceful moment.
The exhibition continues from 1 – 27 November and is viewable during library hours.
