Wombat Stew Story Trail

The path next to Mill Park Library has now been transformed into a Story Trail!
Featuring Marcia Vaughan’s Wombat Stew, you can now walk along and read the pages of the book as they are placed along the path. After reading the book, why not come into the branch and pick up an activity pack? The pack includes a treasure hunt which can be found in the library garden.
Story Trails are a great way for families to enjoy a book together while still being outdoors and active. Build early literacy as you walk along the path, asking and encouraging questions to help build your child’s vocabulary and connect with their world.
The activity pack extends the book and provides opportunities to engage with your child and develop their literacy skills.
The Wombat Stew Story Trail will be up at Mill Park Library until Monday 25 January.
