Local artist Lou Endicott is coming to Yarra Plenty Libraries to run workshops for teens. She loves hiking and bird watching and this is reflected in her work. Her mediums are watercolour, digital, pencil, ink and chalk paint.
Lou’s window art can be seen throughout Banyule, and she recently did a residency at Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub.
She is running workshops at Mill Park, Ivanhoe and Eltham libraries where participants will be taken on a journey to create a story on a tiny 7x9cm canvas. Those works will then be displayed in the library. These workshops are exclusively for young people, aged 10-18 and will be fun as well as a unique learning experience with a local celebrity.
Lou is also going to decorate the windows at Rosanna library with her unique chalk art.
