Small Business Support: YPRL Collection

YPRL Staff

9 February, 2022

Did you know that the Yarra Plenty Regional Library service offers a variety of digital and physical resources to help you grow and support your business?

For this month's Small Business Support feature, we’re exploring Search Engine Optimisation, otherwise known as SEO.

In simple terms, SEO is the process of directing traffic to your website.

It uses a combination of the keywords, information and metadata used on your website, social media platforms, and even online reviews from external sites such as YELP! and Trip Advisor to help link your website to popular search terms that your target audience might use when they are searching online. This also includes image, video, academic, news and industry-specific search engines.

Want to learn more about SEO, how it works, and how you can make changes to your website to improve your SEO? We've compiled our top three picks from our library collection to help you get started!
