Reopening update: Slight changes to library services

YPRL Staff

22 November, 2021

From Monday 22 November, all branches will return to opening at 9:00 AM on weekdays.

Please note that, due to Government mandates, proof of double vaccination will be a requirement of entry to the library for everyone over 12 years and 2 months of age.

In order to enter our libraries, you will need to be able to show your vaccination certificate or medical exemption. You can see the types of proof we are able to accept on this poster from the Victoria Government. Our recent blog post offers information about how we can help you have this ready, including step-by-step instructions for loading your vaccination certificate to your Service Victoria app.

If your child does not have a copy of their COVID-19 vaccination certificate, please contact us and we can print it out for you and have it ready for your child's arrival at your preferred branch.

The Mobile Library will be back to offering its regular services from Wednesday 24 November to members who can provide proof of double vaccination (or medical exemption), along with Click & Collect services to members unable to.

QR check-in is mandatory at all of our YPRL branches.

Face masks are no longer required in our library branches. However, we recommend that fitted face masks be worn when social distancing is not possible.

Information in this blog was correct at the time of posting. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, information can quickly change. Please see our COVID-19 Response page for current information.
