For a celebration of Aboriginal culture through dance, music, and storytelling come along to Lalor, Thomastown, and Diamond Valley libraries, and the Galada Community Hub.
Alinta from Morningstar Performing will teach you the rhythmic art of clapping sticks, a traditional percussion instrument, and share stories about the creation of animals through dance.
Have you ever been to our Mobile Library? Take an adventure to the big library bus when it is parked in St Andrews, or Warrandyte North.
Explore Indigenous Australian stories, knowledge, patterns, and symbols through a range of art and craft activities designed by contemporary First Nations artists. Join us for an afternoon of Indigenous Storytelling at Watsonia Library.
Aboriginal educator and cultural practitioner Eva Jo Edwards will present both traditional and contemporary stories. Eva Jo will take the children on a journey through creation stories that also examine social values and teach how to get along with one another.
