Connecting With Creatives – Lucas Li, Tuesday 24 September at Watsonia Library, 10.00am—11.00am.
Lucas Li is a Youth Access Worker with Banyule City Council with a background in the film industry and a passion for creative expression through designing games and running RPG sessions. He will be hosting a terrain workshop! All materials will be provided. You are welcome to bring along your own found materials, such as bark, fabric, and small stones, if you would like to use these. This is a unique opportunity to drop in and meet him, discuss his art, his process, and watch him in action. He will be at Watsonia Library from 10.00am—3.00pm
Connecting With Creatives - Jodi Wiley, Wednesday 25 September, 9.30am—5.30pm.
All aboard for the day with local artist Jodi Wiley. Help us celebrate the Mobile Library’s 70th Birthday by dropping by to see Jodi pay creative tribute to this significant occasion. Not only that – contribute yourself! Here are the stops Jodi will be at:

- Kangaroo Ground, 12.30pm—2.00pm
- Diamond Creek, 3.30pm—5.30pm
Connecting With Creatives - Sarah Howell, Thursday 26 September at Mill Park Library, 10.00am—2.00pm
Sarah Howell is an artist, cartoonist, and co-founder of Squishface Comic Studio. She will be working at Mill Park Library from 10.00am—2.00pm where you can drop in to chat with her about her art practice. Sarah will host a workshop based on the studio's new book about making comics, Squishbook at 2.00pm. Bookings required for workshop. Children must be accompanied by an adult (who are also welcome to participate).
Connecting With Creatives - Emma Sjaan Beukers, Tuesday 1 October at Thomastown Library, 2.00pm—3.00pm
Emma Sjaan Beukers is a designer, illustrator and artist working from her home studio in Naarm (Melbourne). Emma will be working at Thomastown Library from 10.00am—2.00pm, providing users the unique opportunity to drop in and meet her, discuss her art process and watch her work. Emma will be hosting an interactive illustration workshop at 2.00pm. The workshop will start with basic exercises before building up to using shapes and facial expressions to construct their character to tell a story. All experience and skill levels are welcome. Each participant will receive a goody bag to take home to keep creating! Bookings required for workshop.
