Mill Park Library’s car park renovations are done just in time for the school holidays!

City of Whittlesea commenced car park works in mid-March 2022 with construction completing in September. The upgrade consists of an additional thirty-three parking bays, an increase from sixty-two to ninety-five, and includes four All Abilities Access (DDA) parking bays, four motorcycle bays, line marking, bollards and signage, new LED lighting, new footpaths, landscaping and an automated irrigation system.

The original car park and driveway has also been upgraded with new asphalt and line markings. The project was fully funded from the federal governments Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program (LRCI) grant.

With a vibrant, growing community, families and patrons were struggling to find parks during busy hours such as Storytimes. The additions of these spaces mean safer, more convenient access to our library for all.
