Healthy Body, Healthy Minds: Brain Break for Teens

Studying too hard!? Tired of the dull routine of incoming information from your textbooks and online tutorials. Are you finding it harder to problem solve, learn, and memorize?

Do not let your brain ache, take a brain break and the Yarra Plenty Regional Library is just the place to do that.

Across the region, in October, there will be numerous opportunities to refocus with healthy snacks, Unwind your Mind with Art, Massage, osteo therapies, and more.

Healthy bodies, healthy minds is a regional, co-designed project promoting teen connection and lifelong health and wellbeing. Yarra Plenty Regional Library was awarded a grant by VicHealth (Jump Start! Future Healthy Grants Program) to deliver the mini expo.

When you take a brain break from study, your brains are refreshed, and you can solve problems or see another solution in a different light. There is no need to stay for the whole program; they will be running at different branches and will last two hours, but you can pop in and out according to you study requirements.

So, let’s change it up at your local library, take a brain break and change the dull routine of study and well-worn focused learning practices!
