NED STARK

Ned Stark is very concerned about climate change these days. He hears it everywhere: “winter is coming!”.

To get his head around it, he starts with Climate Change for Dummies, and also checks out how we’ve been talking about the threat for the past quarter century in The Fragile Earth: Writing from the New Yorker on Climate Change.

CATELYN STARK

Raising a family is never easy, and for Catelyn Stark raising the future head of House Stark involves all kinds of pressure. She enjoys The 5 Principles of parenting: your essential guide to raising good humans and hopes her kids will turn out well.

In her spare time (what spare time!?), Catelyn enjoys an historical novel with a strong female lead. Boudicca  is perfect for her down time, when she wants to dream about how the Celtic warrior queen led an uprising against the Romans.

ROBB STARK

Robb Stark knows he has a big future, and he doesn’t have a lot of time for light reading. Tony Blair’s On Leadership can help him learn from the successes and failures of others.

Like many leaders is also keen to learn How to think like a Roman Emperor .

JON SNOW

When everyone knows you’re the black dog—or bastard child—you never quite fit in. Jon Snow’s bedside reading pile includes plenty of fiction that follows outsiders into the world.

Sometimes he turns to classics like Franz Kafka’s Metamorphosis to see his own disaffection mirrored back at him.

And did he tell you that a new James Patterson came in? Raised by Wolves you say? Intriguing.

SANSA STARK

Sansa Stark enjoys romance novels—and she considers it a must that leading ladies be treated as equals (if not betters).

Even better if those leading ladies have a touch of nobility in them that sees them through hard times. The Indigo Heiress is a new release that has her attention.

ARYA STARK

Arya Stark refuses to be bored by a story: if it doesn’t have daring and adventure then it’s just not for her.

She’s particularly into manga and is excited to see the newest addition to the Wind breaker series come out. An outcast who’s an expert fighter? Perfect.

BRAN STARK

The mystical arts are not easy to master. Bran Stark is keen to read Peter Wohlleben’s The Heartbeat of Trees, hoping it will help him tap into the power of the weirwood tree.

He also has the new novel The Raven Scholar on his to-read list.

RICKON STARK

Rickon Stark loves a Choose Your Own Adventure: mysterious missing years during which you make your own fate are a lot better than an arrow through the heart. House of Danger? He can tell you a thing or two about that...

If you loved watching the Game of Thrones series check out House of the Dragon  set 200 years later, available on DVD.

'...with schemes hatched on both sides – and the kingdom in the balance – viewers will see the house that dragons built and learn how they tore it all down.'

Or check out the Game of Thrones Cookbook : recipes from King's Landing to the Dothraki Sea

'These eighty recipes take the reader on a delectable journey throughout the Seven Kingdoms, across the Narrow Sea, and back into the annals of history.'
