Recently we had a lovely email from one of our members at the Eltham library, Patty, who mentioned she loves using a handy cross word solver tool she found on the internet, we thought we might highlight the crosswords and other mindful activities at Eltham!
Each day at Eltham (and other branches) you will find printed versions of newspaper crosswords for your enjoyment. As highlighted by Monash University research, crosswords and other puzzles can keep your brain engaged and reduce the risk of dementia and other conditions.

Tea Station
Whilst completing a crossword in our comfortable lounge area, you can enjoy a relaxing herbal tea.
Community Puzzle
Not only do we have crosswords and tea, but we also have our community jig saw puzzle which is completed by our members in a community effort.

Last but not least is our painting canvas, it is a creation of our community members who put their own unique creative flair to the canvas.
