Throughout the month of January, we asked you to share your musical talents with the community and celebrate the summer. We have been blown away by the variety and talent of the submissions we received, and the tough job of deciding the winners fell to our judge Joel Quinn @JoelQuinnMusic!
A performance each was chosen from the Banyule, Nillumbik and Whittlesea areas, with each winner receiving a recording studio session. We also have two overall honourable mentions from across the region, who have won $100 gift cards for Living Music Greensborough.
Studio Recording Session Winners:
- 'Are your Hands Cold' by Rhys Wilson, @special.fried.rhys
- 'Lady Grey' by James Mark, @jamesmarksingersongwriter
- 'Never Be' by Honey Rose
Honourable Mentions:
- Shiroy Chills
- 'Exploding Steve' by Ryell Kallamkote (a song based on the main character from the Minecraft video game)
Thank you to everyone who shared their amazing performances!
Videos of the performances will be shared here shortly, however, due to copyright, we're unable to share any covers.
Thank you to the Nillumbik Shire Council and Banyule JETS for supporting us!
