With further easing of restrictions across Victoria, Yarra Plenty Regional Library is steadily returning to normal services. For details on the new restrictions in place, please visit the Coronavirus Victoria website.
Please wear a mask whenever you visit one of our services, unless a medical exemption applies. If you visit any of our locations, it is mandatory that you check in using the QR code in place, please talk to one of our staff if you do not have a device capable of scanning a QR code. Follow the rules and instructions provided by the Government, so we can keep the community protected, as we open up again.
Changes to YPRL services
YPRL branches have reopened with their normal opening hours (except for Diamond Valley Library which remains closed for renovations) while the Diamond Valley and Hurstbridge Hub Click & Collect services have also reopened. Our 24/7 return chutes remain open.
All in person programs and events are now returning, please check our events page for more information.
The Mobile Library has returned to service under the 1 person per 4 square metre rule.
All branches will have a cap of 1 person per 4 square metre (Whittlesea is capped at 30 and Rosanna is capped at 80), with spaces inside the library also having clearly marked out density caps.
There is no longer a time limit placed on attending the library.
Our community rooms are available for bookings again.
We continue offer our full eLibrary collection which includes eBooks, eAudio, and films. You may continue to place holds on the collection in preparation for our reopening.
We will also continue to offer our Care Box and Family Fun Bundles delivered through Australia Post to any household in our service area that is required to undertake quarantine at home.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
