Yarra Plenty Regional Library is always open online!

Read, watch, listen, learn, play, and research with YPRL’s suite of digital resources, which are open and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your library membership gives you access to a huge collection of free digital resources that can be accessed through the YPRL app or from your computer at home. In addition, YPRL runs various digital programs to offer ongoing support and learning opportunities for our library members and communities.

Online Storytime sessions for babies, toddlers and young children are regularly posted on our Facebook page and are a great way for children to develop early years literacy skills and for parents and guardians to pick up ideas and tips to help children learn. For the whole family, YPRL’s online family fun trivia evenings and themed games are a great way to keep active minds whilst having fun and connecting with others.

Code Club is all about learning how to create games, animations and interactive stories with Scratch, a visual programming language for beginners. These sessions are being offered online in a group setting, where participants will work through an activity together on Scratch.
