With OverDrive Listen, you can borrow eAudiobooks from our Overdrive service and listen to them in your browser. There are no downloads or software required - all you need is a compatible web browser.
When you return to an OverDrive Listen audiobook after a break, your listening position, bookmarks, notes, and highlights will be saved. (You can also slow down or speed up the reading – something I personally will be needing as I tackle City of Bones in Russian. TS)
For best results on a computer you will need Windows 7 or newer for a PC or OSX 10.9 or newer for a Mac. If you are using a mobile device you will need at least Android 4.1 or iOS 7.0.
If you need help getting started you can click here for OverDrive Listen help.
Just remember though, you need an internet connection to make it work and if you have a limited mobile data plan you could go over your limit.
In most cases Flip the Page still recommends that you download your eBook onto mobile devices as once downloaded you are able to listen to the book at your leisure without needing an internet connection and with no data usage issues.
