Walking for an average of 30 minutes a day can lower the risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes by 30 to 40 per cent.

What happens at a Walking Book Club?
No, you don't need to read and walk! Walking Book Clubs are topic-based conversations that incorporate walking and talking. No pre-reading required.
Each session will have a leader to get the conversation going and navigate. Along the way there are a range of activities planned such as chats, hearing from local experts, and visiting historical landmarks - even yoga!
