A new Trove will be ready to explore with the launch of their preview on Library Lovers Day. Access Trove as you normally would and look for the green preview link on the home page. Here you will find links to new landing pages Explore, Categories, Community, Research and First Australians. A lot of what we love about Trove will remain the same including browsing, viewing, downloading historial newspapers, text correction, tagging, lists construction and more. You will find new look landing pages, some new features and exisiting features re-named. There will also be Trove triva, collection features, news feeds and the ability to collaborate with lists. In addition items in lists can be filtered, re-ordered and downloadable. There will be cultural sensitivity notifications on some content.
Newspapers and Gazettes will be merged into the same category. The newspaper viewer includes the same functions but the viewer will have a bigger font and there is a change in colours.
You will be able to continue to edit text and become a Voluntrove.
A recording of an introductory webinar recently presented by the Trove team is available on their YouTube channel
