The Mitfords : Letters between six sisters

Letters between six sisters edited by Charlotte Mosley is now available as an eBook from YPRL’s Overdrive service. It features a selection of unpublished letters between the six legendary Mitford sisters and has been compiled by Diana Mitford's daughter-in-law, Charlotte Mosley.

Who were the Mitford sisters?

They were Nancy, the bestselling novelist, Pamela who craved a quiet country life and Diana, the wife of fascist Sir Oswald Mosley. There were also Unity, whose obsession with Adolf Hitler led to her shooting herself, Jessica, the communist and Deborah, who became Duchess of Devonshire and until her recent death was the last surviving Mitford sister.

Some of Nancy Mitford’s novels including the slightly autobiographical Love in a cold climate are also available as eBooks through our Overdrive service.
