Reading for a rest day

If now that the second week of the Tour de France is over and you still feel that you have not had enough here is some potential reading for the evening of a rest day….

For many people one of the highlights of the coverage is the amazing scenery of rural France.  If the views of the Gorges Du Tarn has inspired you think of travel along the back roads why not try the DK Eyewitness Back Roads France driving holiday guide?  It describes twenty-five themed drives, each lasting one to seven days with local experiences that can only be discovered by road.

For others one of the highlights is Gabriel Gate’s annual Taste le tour. Gate’s cookbook A Cook's Tour of France - a collection of regional French recipes - is available as a download from our Overdrive service.
