Pet Tales: you read, they listen!

Do you have a reluctant reader at home? Pet Tales can help!

The YPRL Pet Tales online program provides children with a non-judgemental, comforting, and safe pet audience to practise their reading with. It also encourages and develops children’s verbal communication skills and presents reading as a joyful experience.

Book a session with one of our staff members' attentive pets. We have dogs, cats, and even birds eager to listen to your child read to them. Sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams video chat and run for 10 minutes. Once booked in you will be sent a link to connect.
