Science Week is coming to Yarra Plenty Regional Library... we are EXCITED!
Science Week is celebrated around Australia every year. It’s an opportunity to show everyone that Science (and Technology, Engineering and Maths – together they are sometimes called STEM) is fun, interesting and an important part of everyday life. This year, National Science Week will be from 11-19 August.
We have organised lots of activities including LEGO, robotics, coding, chemistry, chess, and a construction competition. So come along, switch on your science brain and have some fun!
The Thomastown Library, Learning Coordinator, Karen is also a real scientist (as well as a librarian!) and is looking forward to sharing her enthusiasm about science and STEM with the community.
