Narrated eBooks for kids!

earmuffs

You may have noticed a small selection of junior eBooks in our library's digital collection labelled narrated.

This means that the OverDrive Read format for those eBooks has a narration that plays along while you read – something a little like the old style picture book kits with a book and CD or tape.

You will find pretty clear instructions for use here on Overdrive help under the topic “What is a narrated eBook and how does it work?”

If you need to check if your browser is compatible look at this article also on Overdrive help “What browsers are compatible with narrated eBooks?”

To start go to our Kids & Teens eReading Room or choose Juvenile Fiction from the options on the green bar.

You will then find an option for OverDrive Read with narration listed under Format  as a format feature - highlighted in yellow below.
