Library and Information Week 2019 is all about recognising the ways libraries support and further the ideals of Truth, Integrity and Knowledge. At Yarra Plenty Regional Library, we're celebrating this theme by highlighting some of the moving stories received from our communities as part of the the #LibrariesChangeLives advocacy campaign.
'The library changed my life because that's how I get to know more English
and I love the new[s]paper!'
'The library has changed my life by helping me to read better, to understand
words, has also taught me to write better... slowly I progressed... if it wasn't for the library, I would still be at
Square 1 - being filled with all sorts of questions and with nobody giving me answers.'
'The life is good. It has the library.'
'It has made me read much more and improve my reading.'
- Ethan, 8 years
