Jessie Alice is on a mission to inspire and educate on mindfulness in the kitchen, sustainable economies and circular cooking to create a future where everyone can enjoy sustainable food.
The self-titled 'Nigella Lawson' of left-overs, penny pinching and budget meals are off Jessie's menu. And if you think it's only cold meats that are left-overs, she will have you thinking again.
We are looking forward to welcoming Jessie as part of our July Winter Wellness program at YPRL, running workshops at Ivanhoe, Rosanna and Watsonia libraries to inspire and educate on making the world more sustainable through food preparation and sourcing.
For Leftover Lovers, the ultimate goal is to reuse, recycle, or biodegrade all materials involved so as to produce zero waste. This process when applied to our kitchens results in newfound opportunities for gourmet creations, tasty pantry ingredients, and fruitful zero waste food feasts!
