How To Organise a Book Club Catch-up Online

Books enrich our lives in many ways and having a lively discussion with other readers via traditional methods may be something that is not possible due to current restrictions. 

Taking a step onto the digital stage will allow book groups to meet, chat and keep their connection. Here is a way your library service may be able to help with 'how-to' information on setting up a digital platform.

YPRL members have free access to courses which includes Learning Zoom or Learning Skype both are presented via easy to follow online video tutorials that takes about one hour to complete, delivered to your computer, tablet or mobile device, all you need is your library membership to get started. These programs allow you to host virtual meetings and chat about your favourite books from the comfort of your own home.

And the best news is, it’s all free! Simply log in with your library card details to start learning. Don’t have a library card? Become a digital member and receive access straight away.
