A new website has come to my attention of interest to Australian and New Zealand researchers - Heavenaddress.com

Users can subscribe and build a memorial page to their lost loved ones. Being a Curator, you can: Upload photos, music, video clips, to create a memory book, build a personal social network to whatever extent you wish within your preferred level of privacy control, post a funeral notice, post your special tributes and develop a memory book in response to funeral notices posted by fellow Curators.

I was surprised at the amount of content of funeral notices available on the site when I test searched with my more uncommon surnames. I think that this would be a good website to take a look at in conjunction with the historical death indexes and the Ryerson Index and cemetery records.
