Heart – Stephanie Barton

My home has one room, that’s all it needs.

It has no doors or windows, just a room, no more.

This room is my heart, this room is my home.

As long as I’m where my heart is I am never alone.

The room can be anywhere, sky or sea.

It doesn’t really matter as long as the place is special to me.

Whenever I am down and out of hope,

I think of my room’s home and that keeps me afloat.

And whenever I feel that nobody is on my side,

I think of where my heart is, and that makes me smile.

And whenever I feel the world is weighing down on me,

I just think of my place, and I’m happy.
