Food for Fines

All YPRL branches are currently accepting food and personal hygiene items for Foodbank Victoria. Plus if you donate we'll wipe your library fines. Win-win!

Share the Dignity

Diamond Valley Library is a drop-off point for Share the Dignity bags. 

Fill a bag with items that would make a female feel special this Christmas. They are distributed to homeless women, women at risk or women experiencing domestic violence.

Banyule Children's Gift Appeal

Ivanhoe, Rosanna and Watsonia Libraries are collecting toys to help disadvantaged children for the Banyule Children's Gift Appeal 

This year we are seeking toys suitable for children under 3, boys and girls aged between 7 and 12 and donations of money to be used to purchase gift cards for children over 12.

Please NOTE: soft toys cannot be accepted.

Eltham Library is a collection point for used glasses and specstacles. Recycle for Sight is managed by the Diamond Valley Lions Club


Food Share

Diamond Valley Library is a collection point for Diamond Valley Food Share, distributing emergency food parcels are available to people in need.


Thomastown Craft Maker Space

Thomastown Library and Thomastown Neighbourhood House collect donations of fabric or textiles supplies for use in its Craft Maker Space and for the Made in Thomastown social enterprise.
