Craft for a Cause: Wildlife Rescue

As well as families and communities, Victoria's bushfires have had a devastating impact on our native animals.

Wildlife agencies and volunteers are currently working tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate animals that have been injured in the fires. Want to help? Join us to Craft for a Cause. 

Craft for a Cause 

YPRL has partnered with Wildlife Rescuers Victoria, a non-profit and volunteer-run organisation that make and distribute pouches and mumma rolls to wildlife foster carers and other organisations in need. Over the past year, since our partnership, YPRL patrons have made an amazing 200+ items to help with rehabilitating rescued wildlife - but now more is needed. 

If you are crafty, please come along and craft for a cause! All materials are provided and tuition is available during the following events:

Charity Knitting Group

A charity knitting group meets fortnightly on Wednesdays at Lalor Library, knitting trauma teddies for children. Anyone can join! Find out more here
