COVID-19 Restrictions

From Thursday 9 July, Yarra Plenty Regional Library branches will close for six weeks. The Mobile Library and Outreach Vehicle will also be off the road. 

Our closure is as instructed by the State Government of Victoria in line with Stage 3 Covid-19 restrictions returning to the Melbourne Metropolitan area from 11.59pm on 8 July for six weeks. 

What about my holds?

If you wish to pick up existing holds, you have until the branches close today, 8 July, to do so.

From 9 July, we will be using Auspost to mail out holds to you through our Click & Post service

Can I return my books?

If you wish to return items, our external return chutes are open 24/7. Please note the returns chutes at Mill Park Library and Ivanhoe Library are closed.

Please wash your hands before and after handling the chute and adhere to the social distancing and/or lockdown measures recommended by the Government.

All items currently on loan have been automatically extended until 21 August.

Our digital collection includes ebooks, audiobooks, magazines and movies/TV. Digital collections can be downloaded and/or streamed online or through an app.
