Click & Collect

Yarra Plenty Regional Library is excited to announce that eight of our branches will reopen for Click & Collect from Monday 1 June 2020. Ivanhoe Library will not be reopening at this time (see below). 

The YPRL Mobile Library will also be back on the road for patrons to Click & Collect, running to its normal schedule from Monday 1 June 2020.

Branches will be open between 10.00am to 2.00pm and 3.00pm to 6.00pm* Monday to Thursday and 10.00am to 2.00pm and 3.00pm to 5.00pm Friday and Saturday** to collect your holds using our self-loan stations.

* Whittlesea Library is only open until 5.00pm each weekday.

** Thomastown Library and Whittlesea Library are only open 10.00am to 1.00pm Saturdays. 

Please note the libraries are open for Click & Collect only. The service is not staffed and you are not able to enter the library to browse, study or use the PCs. You can borrow your holds using our self-loan stations. Find out more.

New holds may now be placed, and our return chutes have already reopened 24/7, although all current loans have been extended until 30 June.

To access Click & Collect, all you need to do is place your holds online and select the branch you want to pick your items up from. Once the items are available, you will be notified by email or SMS that they are ready to be picked up! You can then attend your selected branch between 10.00am to 2.00pm and 3.00pm to 6.00pm* Monday to Thursday and 10.00am to 2.00pm and 3.00pm to 5.00pm Friday and Saturday** to collect your holds using our self-loan stations.

Please note that Ivanhoe Library will not reopen at this stage, however the new Ivanhoe Library is expected to open later in the year. All existing Ivanhoe holds will be available to be picked up from Rosanna Library. Find out more.

Please remember to wash your hands before and after attending our branches, follow all signage in branches, and adhere to the Government's social distancing guidelines at all times. Please don't come to the library if you are feeling unwell.
