12 Library Days of Christmas

So what has the library ever done for me? Let’s take a look using a tried and trusted Christmas formula.

On the first day of Christmas my library gave to me – donate food to cancel my fees.

On the second day of Christmas my library gave to me – No fines on children’s books, and donate food to cancel my fees.

On the third day of Christmas my library gave to me – cook books for feasts, no fines on childrens books, and donate food to cancel my fees.

On the fourth day of Christmas my Library gave to me – audiobooks for roadtrips, cook books for feasts, no fines on childrens books, and donate food to cancel my fees.

On the fifth day of Christmas my library gave to me – Santa storytimes, audiobooks for roadtrips, cookbooks for feasts and so on – you know how it goes.

On the sixth day of Christmas my library gave to me – gift wrapping workshops, Santa storytimes, audiobooks for roadtrips, cook books for feasts, no fines on childrens books, and donate food to cancel my fees.

On the seventh  day of Christmas my library gave to me – Banyule Children’s Gift appeal , gift wrapping workshops, Santa storytimes, audiobooks for roadtrips, cook books for feasts, no fines on childrens books, and donate food to cancel my fees.

On the eighth day of Christmas my library gave to me – It’s In the Bag drive, and so on …

On the ninth day of Christmas my library gave to me – Christmas cooking classes, It’s in the Bag drive, Banyule etc. It gets a bit tedious at this point.

On the tenth day of Christmas my library gave to me – Choirs and carols… see above

On the eleventh day of Christmas my library gave to me – Celebrations for our wonderful volunteers (too many syllables I know, but they are worth it).

On the twelfth day of Christmas my library gave to me – Summer Reading Club, Celebrations for our wonderful volunteers, Choirs and carols, Christmas cooking classes, - It’s In the Bag drive, Banyule Children’s Gift appeal, gift wrapping workshops, Santa storytimes, - audiobooks for roadtrips, cook books for feasts, no fines on childrens books, and donate food to cancel my fees.

Not a bad list, hey, and all for free. Happy Christmas!
