All the material has been donated, with contributions coming from early settlers and their descendants, from professional and amateur historians, and from many other writers. The collection is thus of a diverse nature and includes social, economic, political, legal and cultural aspects of Victoria's history. Journal publications: History News, Victorian Historical Journal
