  2. Australian judicial system- Good clear explanations of how Australia's judicial system works. Also includes a special section on how young people can access legal advice on the Internet  
  3. Australian Courts and Legislation- Links provided by the NLA to information about the various courts in Australia  
  4. Australia's system of government- This website is a good overview of how Australia is governed and how it's legal system originated and works now.  
  5. Crime and Justice - Information from the 2002 Australian Yearbook. Links to the the criminal justice system, including the police force, and how it operates.  
  6. Crime and criminal justice statistics-Use this website for information on the workings of courts, tribunals & prisons. The Victorian Justice Department's statistical resources include data on prisons, the corrections system, trends in drug offence,& crime victims surveys. There is also statistical data from the Victorian Police force website.
