Serena our Children's Librarian is back with another lovely baby of the month to introduce us to. 'We welcome little 19 month old Alex to our Mill Park baby family. Well Done, Those Men, by Barry Heard will be the Victorian book for the National Year of Reading Our Story after readers all over the State voted for their favourite of six shortlisted books. Pick up a free book from Rosanna Railway Station and Rosanna Library and celebrate the launch of the National Year of Reading on Tuesday 14 February - Valentine's Day, or as it's known around here, Library Lovers Day. All library branches will be closed and the Mobile Library will be off road on the Labour Day public holiday, Monday 12 March. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday 13 March.

On Monday at the Mill Park Summer Reading Club party a fantastic time was had by all the children - doing the limbo, finding the bugs in the library, smashing a spider pinata and getting their faces painted or arms tattooed. The Wildlife Exposures Show (creepy crawly expo) was terrific and the kids really enjoyed their encounters with the poisonous centipede, scary scorpion and hairy . . . more »
