YPRL provides many volunteer opportunities in the community

There are a number of volunteer opportunities at YPRL.  Some of the typical duties include the following:

• Collection maintenance support (if required)
• Housebound services
• Assist in organising and presenting programs
• Specialised program delivery (eg LOTE story times)
• Branch support in various areas e.g. tutoring
• Outreach support e.g Words on Wheels, Mobile library service storytime
• Head office admin support
• Ad hoc volunteering activities

Other details

• Most volunteer work requires 3-4 hours per shift, on a weekly basis.
• The Home Library Service requires a once-a-month commitment.  Learn more.

A police check is required
