Using the Catalogue

From the Yarra Plenty Home Page click on “Search Catalogue”

User ID and PIN

You do not have to log in from this page at present.  You can still search the catalogue as usual

Your user ID is your library card number (eg 12345678) and PIN


Searching the catalogue

Type in search term or word. Use the pull down menu to narrow your search to author, title, subject, etc.
You can also narrow your search to only search in a particular library

Click on the SEARCH button. A list of Search results will appear in brief.

Click FULL DETAILS beside the item you would like to view.

This will display full details of the item, and which libraries hold it

Holds

After searching the Catalogue, display the FULL DETAILS of the item yo want to place a hold on
You must display the Full Details of the item you wish to place a hold on

Click on HOLD

Key in your library card number as ID (eg 12345678) and PIN

Select the Library where you would like to pick up your hold.

You will be notified when your hold is available - please remember to pick up item within 7 days of the date of notification
